Accredited Training Courses

The Alliance Steering Group are pleased to offer accredited training courses in best practice in procurement through FAC-1, TAC-1 and PPC2000.

Our training courses cater to all levels of practitioner to help you run a successful project. Courses range from introductory to advanced level and bespoke tailored courses can be developed for specialised needs. Courses can be run as public events or in-house training.

Introductory Courses (Duration 3 .5 hours)

  • An introduction to FAC-1
  • An introduction to TAC-1
  • An introduction to PPC2000
  • An introduction to sub-contract forms SPC2000, the SPC Short Form and STPC2005
  • Using FAC-1, TAC-1 and PPC2000 with BIM

Intermediate Courses (Duration 3.5 hours)

  • Procurement and costing under FAC-1/TAC-1/ PPC2000
  • Programming and contract management under FAC-1/ TAC-1/ PPC2000
  • The roles of the Client Representative/Alliance Manager/ Independent Adviser

Advanced Courses (Duration 3.5 hours)

  • Managing risk and avoiding/ resolving disputes under FAC-1/TAC-1/PPC2000
  • Using FAC-1 in different jurisdictions
